Nathan (Natâh) fut le conseiller du deuxième roi hébreu David à qui il reprocha d’avoir fait périr Urie, un de ses officiers, pour lui ravir sa femme Bethsabée. Dans la Bible, Bethsabée fut l’épouse de David et la mère du roi Salomon.
